Support for Dr. Lynn Shelburne

Jimmie Higdon — “Was a great senator.”

Dr. Lynn Shelburne — “Will also be the same.”

Running for a previous elected office against Dr. Shelburne, I got to know Dr. Shelburne — and guess what? I voted for her.

Wanting to run to be re‑elected as the chairperson for school board with experience as a state, national, and international president of numerous educational organizations and a keynote speaker on six continents, I thought it would be a done deal.

But wait: With debates and getting to know Dr. Shelburne, I recognized an incredible human being. I found Dr. Shelburne to be “world class.” In my global travels I have been associated with the best of the best, but few could match her qualities.

I could write a book with regard to her unmistakable life qualities, but will summarize that she is a strong Christian who speaks for all people through her heart and with her mind.

I encourage your support for a person that speaks for all and not a few.
