Kentucky Campaign Contribution Rules

U.S. citizens or lawful permanent residents (18+) and PACs may contribute. Corporations, LLCs, unions, foreign nationals, anonymous donors, and some state contractors may not.

Limits are $2,200 per election for individuals and PACs.

Contributions include money, in‑kind goods or services, loans, and fundraising purchases above fair‑market value.

Required info: name, address, occupation, employer, and amount. Joint contributions require both spouses’ signatures.

Cash over $100, corporate or union funds, straw donors, or contributions made in someone else’s name are prohibited.

Excess or ineligible contributions will be refunded.
